The Marbella Town Hall will reinforce the bus service and enable two free shuttles with more than a hundred daily expeditions to the fairgrounds during the festivities in honor of San Bernabé, which will take place from June 6 to 12, as reported on Monday by the acting councilor for the sector, Enrique Rodríguez.

The mayor presented the initiative today together with the head of Grupo Avanza, José Antonio Romero, and stressed that “our goal is to facilitate citizen access to Arroyo Segundoreduce the use of private vehicles to contribute to the fluidity of traffic, reduce parking problems and promote the use of public transport as the safest way to return home”.

Rodríguez has specified that the bus schedule tomorrow, Tuesday the 6th, it will be from 8:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.; From Wednesday the 7th to Sunday the 11th, it will run from 6:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., ending at 3:30 a.m., and on Monday the 12th it will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., ending at 12:30 a.m.

With respect to special shuttle servicethe mayor has detailed that it will consist of two lines, line A will be circular and will run along Arias de Velasco and Cánovas del Castillo avenues, with stops at the La Fuente gas station, La Florida, Marbella bus station and La Concha building .

The line B will depart from the fairgrounds and will make its way through Severo Ochoa and Ricardo Soriano avenues, with stops at Porcelanosa, Unicaja and Marbell Center. The destination of the shuttles of both routes will be the front of the enclosure to facilitate the displacement of residents with reduced mobility, and will have a frequency of fifteen minutes.

Are expeditions will be added to those of the regular lines L-3, L-6, L-6B and L-8, which will be reinforced with the conditioning of an additional stop for lines 12 and 13 at the Manuel Haro roundabout. Rodríguez has indicated that “a revitalization campaign to make citizens aware of the advantages of using public transport that will be disseminated on social networks and will include the installation of a photocall”. Romero, for his part, thanked “that the City Council once again trusts us to develop this special device in Marbella’s Semana Grande” and stressed that “high-capacity vehicles will be enabled at times of greatest demand”.
