The City Council of marbella will carry out an evaluation of each work center through the Occupational Risk Prevention service and will study this Thursday, in the commission of this department, if the mask continues to be mandatory in any of them.
This was announced by the Councilor for Human Resources, José Eduardo Díaz, who pointed out that “after having access to the Royal Decree published this morning in the Official State Gazette, which modifies the use of this protection element, we are going to prepare a detailed report to determine the preventive measures that may be likely to be implemented”, although he has underlined “the legal insecurity of this regulation, because there is no provision that clearly establishes that it is no longer required in the workplace”.
The mayor has specified that “at the meeting that will take place tomorrow, the general recommendations will be reported and it will be established whether the level of risk makes it advisable that the mask should continue to be used in certain areas of the Consistory.” Likewise, he has indicated that “in any case, during today’s session the recommendation has been to maintain the prudence and respect safety criteria that have been applied so far.
