The Adolfo Suárez Palace of Fairs and Congresses in Marbella will host this Saturday, July 8, the sixth edition of Marbecon, the manga room, videogames, comics and alternative culturewhich organizes Go events in collaboration with the municipal Youth delegation.
The councilor of the branch, Alejandro González, has detailed that during the day the assistants will be able to enjoy more than 40 activitiesamong them, tournaments in a gamer area, which has been expanded for this event, as well as other Arcade and Just Dance spaces, with two stalls so that you can dance all day long.
“Several samples will also be on display, such as the one dedicated to the Marvel And DC Superheroes Comic World, with spectacular replicas and another exhibition of the magical world of Harry Potter, which was very successful last year”, specified the mayor, who has advanced that “these activities will be completed with an exhibition of funkos, with more than 100 different models, and the Modarte Novias Cosplay event, by Carlos H. Ramos, where his haute couture work and photographs of his models will be shown.
There will also be a space for board game lovers, with more than 60 references, in free play mode, and the appointment will feature a Magic collectible card tournament. In addition, the area of the champions’ arena will be released in this edition, a space for lovers of physical activities, with softcombat, aim shooting, nerf and soft archery. There will also be a Korean area, coordinated by the Pirate Wolves group and, as a novelty, the first edition of the IDOL contest will be held in Andalusia.
This year the ‘Artist Alley’where you can meet some of the most promising artists and illustrators in the community and obtain objects of merchandising in the commercial area.
Among the protagonists of the event in Marbella, which will last between 11:00 and 21:00, will be the Kira Dori group, which will hold a concert, the cosplayers Zorro Cosplay and Jigglycute, and illustrators and content creators, such as Kaos from Estudio Katastrofico and JuanJotage. The cost of the ticket will be 4 euros, lowering to 3 euros if purchased in advance.
