The city of Marbella will host on June 8 and 9 the Travel Blog Experience (TBEX) congress, that will gather 400 bloggers and influencers from the world of travelwhere the destination will make its benefits known through experiences provided to content creators to enhance their international projection, as announced on Monday by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz.

This was highlighted by the councilor in the presentation of the event, in which she was accompanied by the fourth vice president of the Provincial Council, Manuel Marmolejo; the Secretary General of Tourism of Andalusia, Manuel Muñoz; TBEX CEO Rick Calvert; and the director of TBEX in Europe, Jaume Marín.

During his speech, Muñoz stressed that the Costa del Sol town has based its tourism strategy on the fact that “tourists are changing the way they plan their stays, and therefore, we had to anticipate”, ensuring that “today what those who visit us are looking for are experiences, sensations or emotions.

In this sense, he has underlined the importance of the congress, since they will transfer to their followers content aimed at these aspects, with “the 400 bloggers and influencers Most important in the world within the field of travel”, which “will verify first-hand how and why Marbella is positioned as the best European destination within the scope of excellence and the second best destination in all of Europe to visit”.

Regarding the profile of the participants, Muñoz has highlighted that “the 400 congressmen come mainly from Europe and the United States, and they are the largest content generators in the world within the field of travel”. For his part, Jaume Marín has emphasized that the decision to choose Marbella for the celebration of the congress has been supported mainly by Andalusian “people and professionals”, in addition to the “culture” and “way of being” of its inhabitants among the six destinations that competed for hosting the event.
