The City Council of Mijas has announced six places for the Fire Departmenta template that had not been expanded since 2007as reported this morning by the mayor of the city, Josele González, and the Councilor for Human Resources, Laura Moreno.
The councilor has detailed that “six places have been called, one Firefighter driver, four specialist and a position of non-commissioned officer of the Fire Extinguishing Service”, as well as strengthen the body of the Local Police “with four seats”.
González has highlighted that “since we arrived at the Mayor’s Office in 2019 we have launched 11 Firefighter positions and 23 local policewhich demonstrates the commitment of this government team to the safety and well-being of our neighbors.
For her part, the Councilor for Human Resources, Laura Moreno, has advanced that the Mijas Town Hall has launched a call for other categories, offering “a total of 22 seats, many of them from the operational areas of this council”. In this sense, he has specified that a square is “painter officer, four mason officer, two driver officer, one mechanical officer, another for a technical maintenance officer, two positions for an operator and one for a technical engineer”.
