The Mijas Town Hall will finalize the flooring renovation works and supply of Los Naranjos street end this Friday, some works that “have been a investment of 52,227 eurosas reported by the Councilor for Operational Services, José Carlos Martín.

The mayor has highlighted that the works “are part of the ‘municipal pavement renovation plan’, that carry out our municipal workers to improve infrastructure of the city and eliminate architectural barriers, among other issues”.

Thus, the councilor has highlighted that “specifically, in these works the replacement of the old flooringalready very damaged over the years, by another parchment type much more modern, comfortable and practicalin addition to being consistent with the aesthetics of the rest of the municipality”.

Martín added that in addition to the new pavement, the works have improved the public lighting networkjust as they have created pits for the trees and an irrigation network for them.

“This type of vegetation did not exist until now in the area and we have taken the opportunity to introduce it in a performance surface of 350 square meters of flooring and, as a whole, all of this improves the quality of life of residents with a boost to infrastructures and services”, assures the mayor.

In the same way, it should be noted that these works have also served so that the public water company Acosol improves its supply networkhas indicated the councilor, who has pointed out that “we are gradually remodeling the roads of our municipal area, both the pavement with the ‘municipal pavement renewal plan’ and the road with the ‘asphalt conservation and maintenance plan’, the ‘urbanization asphalt plan’, as well as the ‘asphalt patching and improvement plan’.
