The Mijas Town Hall has granted the building permit for the construction of one of the largest car exhibitors in the province of Malagawhich will be located on the A-387 highway, whose work has already begun and will have an investment of 2.5 million euros, according to the mayor of Urban Planning and Industry, Andrés Ruiz.
The councilor has pointed out that “this space is going to have more than 2,000 square meters dedicated to the exhibition of vehicles of the Renault-Nissan-Carsol brand”, where 50 jobs will be created.
In this way, Ruiz has detailed that the company will be located on the Mijas highway (A-387) and has already begun work with you look to be able to open its doors in the fall of 2022. For this, it has indicated that initially they will have to rehabilitate the existing building in that location and adapt it, as well as expand it to be able to start up this business commitment.
In addition to new and used vehiclesthe company will offer second-hand passenger cars and there will be exhibitions of all types of cars, also promoting all the new models of these brands that come onto the market to be up-to-date at all times.
“This is an important license also for the 1,300 meters that supposes the provision of green areas and the improvement of the environment, which is the responsibility of the company, to which I am grateful for the dialogue for the regularization of this piece of land where they have ceded the uses that corresponded to them from an old agreement”, added the councillor.
On the other hand, the mayor has indicated that “Urbanism continues to order this area of the road that goes up to Mijas Pueblo from Fuengirola, where one of the industrial areas of Mijas“.
Currently, he has pointed out that the City Council is carrying out the works of construction of two roundabouts on this route that will facilitate mobility and reduce the danger in traffic.
According to the municipal official, this represents “a leap in quality not only for the neighbors who live on the adjoining residential land, but for all this commercial development area that is going to see how the industrial activity prospers”.
For his part, the business manager, José Antonio Martín, pointed out that “there are provincial capitals that do not have this type of facility, in which we are going to invest 2.5 million euros to set up an avant-garde dealership which will be located in a strategic place in the city, also with expectations of growth”.
