The Mijas Town Hall has inaugurated this Monday the recently remodeled Marbella streetin the center of La Cala, where traffic has been opened on the road after comprehensive remodeling work, which has involved an investment of 285,900 euros, as announced by the mayor, Josele González.
The councilor has celebrated the end of the works, of which he has assured that “since the beginning they have been agreed with the neighbors and the neighbors, as well as with hemerchants in the area precisely so that it affects them as little as possible”.
“We wanted the works finished in the first quarter of the yearbefore Easter, that is the commitment we made with them and we have achieved it”, emphasized González, who recalled that the road opens to traffic “as it was before the circumstances prior to the work”.
In this way, it remains open to traffic one of the main roadss turistics of La Calawhich joins the Mayor’s Office with El Torreón, resulting after its remodeling “a much more functional street because it is wider and we have eradicated the architectural barriers”, pointed out the mayor of the branch, José Carlos Martín.
To this he has added, in addition to the aesthetic improvement, the fact that “we have also carried out a comprehensive remodeling of pipelines, where it is going to allow a better evacuation of the waters and an improvement in the quality of all the services”.
