The Mijas Town Hall will reinforce the M-122 bus line with seven new expeditionswhich connects Fuengirola with Mijas Pueblo, on June 11 on the occasion of the celebration of the ‘Latin Night’, that will turn the Plaza Virgen de la Peña into the epicenter of culture, gastronomy and dance for the South American community, as reported on Monday by the Councilor for Transport and Mobility, Nicolás Cruz.

The mayor has highlighted that the line “will be in service until 02:00 hours departing from Fuengirola and until 02:30 if taken from Mijas”, an extension that will allow “people not only from Fuengirola, but from other coastal areas and Las Lagunas can enjoy the Latin night”.

Cruz added that he will also be shuttle bus service operational “to facilitate the parking of vehicles for those who want to come in their own car. The Quarry of the Port will be enabled to parking from 8:00 p.m. until 02:00 a.m., and from there they will be taken to the center of Mijas Pueblo in a shuttle bus that is free and will have an approximate frequency of about 15 minutes.

Thus, Mijas reinforces its public transport service, an initiative that will be repeated on other key dates of the summer period. “Different nights are scheduled with activities throughout the summer that will bring together a large public such as the Celtic Night or Blues Nightand each time a massive event there will be an important reinforcement not only the extension of hours but also the number of expeditions to facilitate access and parking in the town”, adds Cruz.

The ‘Latin Night’ will take place next Saturday, June 11, from 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. “Undoubtedly, this activity will attract a large public given the attractiveness of this activity. hodgepodge of Latin, Cuban, Mexican or Colombian dances.
