The International Fantastic Film Week of the Costa del Sol presents this Friday 10 of
September, to 1:00 p.m. the Azpiri Award for Best Cartoonist 2021, which will fall to the cartoonist
Nacho Fernandez. The event will take place in the restaurant The Gaucho of Banús, with the presence of
artist and some of the festival guests.
He recently ended a collaboration with the YouTube channel ‘Strip Marvel’, with a comic
parodic with marvel superheroes, and has worked on the webcomic ‘Kung Fu Monkey’.
For two years he has been working and residing in Estepona, doing work for Planeta publishers,
Rule, Panini, Graphite or the missing Camaleon, among others. His works have been published in
Spain, Argentina and France.
