The Ministry of Education and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía has sent a letter to the mayor regarding the approved programming to cover the needs of the educational community of Manilva and build a new secondary school.
The Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, the Councilor for Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, of Urban Planning, Marcos Ruiz and the Mayor of Education, Daniel Muñoz, visited, together with the Territorial Delegate for Education of the Board, Mercedes García Paine, possible land for the project.
In this new step towards the new educational center, the Ministry and the City Council they will specify the plot, which needs a series of characteristics that the Ministry itself demands and in which the municipal technicians will immediately start to work.
“Great news for the educational community, since it means the decongestion of the current institute ‘Las Viñas’, in addition to expanding the studies at the Professional Training level ”, they have added from the City Council.
