The works, with an execution period of 40 days, are in the middle of their execution and, as explained by the councilor for the sector, Diego López, will improve accessibility and road safety in the surroundings of several urbanizations, shopping centers and two schools.

“It is a very busy road in which for different circumstances there were no sidewalks, which made it difficult for residents as well as for schoolchildren and parents of the two schools in the area ”, pointed out the mayor, who has detailed that“ along with this action, planters similar to those that exist in the zone, as well as the creation of a dozen tree pits and the installation of several efficient luminaires ”. “The objective is to create a more pleasant and safe environment for our neighbors,” López stressed.

The councilor stressed that with these works “we are taking a further step in our intention to improve the infrastructures that have a direct impact on the quality of life of our citizens and on road safety” and added that the actions “are added to others projects being promoted in Nueva Andalucía such as the Puerto Banús revitalization plan, the fitting out of a 120-space car park on Gabriel García Márquez street or the dozens of incidents that we resolve on a daily basis thanks to the intermediation of the District ”.
