The City Council of marbella has signed an agreement for free use of the facilities of the International Golf School, located in the Colonia de El Ángel, by the lower level players of the teams of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, as reported on Thursday by the Councilor for Sports, Manuel Cardeña.
The mayor highlighted in the presentation of the initiative that it “is going to enable kids to practice in this renovated driving range of our town.”
“We are one of the Andalusian cities that we contribute the most players to the national circuits in these categories and allowing these users to use an installation of such quality is a great opportunity for them”, explained Cardeña, who also recalled that “the Consistory already develops a municipal school in this venue for an affordable price so that they can start in this sport”.
He also highlighted “the important investment that the concessionaire has carried out to renovate the premises” and has advanced that the objective passes “by turn it into a Technification Center”, adding that “this agreement is the first step to move towards that end and enable players who are between child categories and cadets they don’t have to leave Marbella to perfect their game”.
For his part, the president of the Andalusian Golf Federation, Pablo Mansilla, pointed out that it is “a fantastic agreement for kids from our teams train for freein addition to being able to carry out concentrations in these magnificent facilities”.
