The athlete from Marbella, Sarah Almagro, has once again revalidated her title as Spanish Champion of Adapted Surfing (Prone 2 category) held in Galicia last weekend.
Together with her team made up of Javi Donoso, coach of Dreisog Surf Club and Alejandro Almagro as catcher and strategist, this young athlete with a quadruple amputation -who has already won her first title in 2021- has participated in the seventh edition of the Spanish Surfing Championship. – has returned once again to improve himself and show his worth in a scenario with very rough waves that, of course, have not made it easy for him.
The competition, organized by the Galician Federation, the Spanish Surf Federation and by Quenlla Surf Clube, has been attended by more than 40 athletes, among which important names in adapted surfing such as Aitor Francesena ”Gallo”, Carmen López, María Martin Granizo, Audrey Pascual, Mireia Cabañes and Ander Goenaga. All of them seek to be part of the national team that will participate in the adapted surfing world championships that will be held in Pismo Beach, Los Angeles, California next December.
