The INFOCA Plan has declared the fire declared yesterday afternoon in the area of Monte del Duque, in Casares. The fire broke out at 7:30 p.m. yesterday, and initially two helicopters, 67 forest firefighters, two operations technicians, an environmental agent and three heavy fire fighting vehicles were sent to the area.

As night fell, the aerial means were withdrawn and the ground device was made up of 81 forest firefighters, three operations technicians, a firefighting technician, an environmental agent and four heavy firefighting vehicles. At that time, INFOCA reported that the fire was evolving favorably, which avoided possible evictions of neighbors in the area. At the moment the origin of the fire and the surface affected by the flames are unknown.
