On the 1st line of golf in Estepona, the developer of British origin Taylor Wimpey Spain, announces the launch of a new real estate development: Sunny Golf. A residential for which the company plans an investment of close to 9 million euros. The real estate market continues to show high dynamism on the Spanish coast. According to the Housing on the Coast 2022 report, prepared by Tinsa, all the coasts have recovered pre-Covid sales levels. In particular, the Costa del Sol stands out; the province of Malaga accounts for a quarter of the housing market and 18% of new construction. Taylor Wimpey Spain agrees with these data. Thus, it is preparing this new launch on the Costa del Sol, in the Estepona Golf area, where it also markets the latest phase of Green Golf.
Sunny Golf will have 69 modern apartments and penthouses with 2 and 3 bedrooms, with large terraces with views of nature. Some penthouses will also have sea views. Starting prices are €230,000 + VAT.
This new release is very close to the Green Golf townhouses. A residential that Taylor Wimpey Spain began to market at the end of 2018. The complex has 48 townhouses with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with large terraces. The residential area and the golf course are perfectly integrated, within a natural environment, with a spectacular landscape.

Whether due to its location, the Mediterranean climate, the “wide cultural and gastronomic offer or the quality of the infrastructures, the reality is that the Costa del Sol is an ideal environment for home buyers”, explains Marc Pritchard, Director of Marketing and Sales of Taylor Wimpey Spain. It always has been, but now the buyer has changed his profile to “younger and foreign people related to new technologies, who come to telework or spend more time throughout the year,” explains Pritchard.
A real estate investment that also comes hand in hand with golf tourism. The province of Malaga accounts for 67% of the total number of golf courses in Andalusia, being the province with the most courses in the entire country, almost 70. According to a study carried out by Turismo Costa del Sol, golf generates an impact of 1,410 million euros in direct and indirect production on the Costa del Sol and 775 million euros in direct and indirect income.
