“Where some see stones, I see flowers, houses, life … where others see black and white, I see colors.”
Ana Tonda
Born in Algeciras on April 14, 1970, and living in Casares since 2009, Ana Tonda is a new artist, graduated in Business Administration and a specialist in logistics by profession, who decided to make a change in her life and dedicate herself to her true passion: the art. Her enthusiasm led her to be interested in different techniques and to develop her work, based on nature, its textures and its colors, choosing stones as the central and unifying element.
From there, a stone collection, purification and painting process would begin, in which each piece is treated individually, giving them all the value they deserve, “to transform and fit them, as if it were a puzzle, into a full painting. color”.
In August 2019 he held his first exhibition at the Castillo de la Duquesa in Manilva, in an exhibition called ‘Women’. In February 2020 he won second place in artistic drawing in the contest promoted by the Manilva City Council, paying tribute to the day of Andalusia, and during the months of May and June he exhibited his works at the Sabinillas post office.
