The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host several current meetings with leading professionals from the communication sector.
The first of the talks will take place this Wednesday, September 1, with the journalist from ‘Herrera en Cope’, María José Navarro. The communicator will offer her perspective on the current moment of radio, how the large stations are facing the new season, where the new radio formats are heading and what are the contents of greatest interest to the public.
María José Navarro (Albacete, 1967), has been linked to the airwaves since she was 16 years old and has a long professional career after having worked in Cadena Ser, TVE or TeleMadrid. After collaborating for years with Luis Herrero and Antonio Herrero, he is currently part of the ‘Herrera en Cope’ program and is a columnist for the newspaper ‘La Razón’.
The second meeting will be held this Friday, September 3, with the opinion leader of ‘El Mundo’, Jorge Bustos (Madrid, 1982). The journalist, one of the most recognizable firms in our country, will speak about the situation in the written press, columnists or literary journalism. In addition, he will tell the ins and outs of his latest book ‘Asombro y disenchantment’, an unusual travel book where he displays his cultured and curious gaze and his sense of humor through the lands of Castile and France.
In addition to being the head of the Opinion area in ‘El Mundo’, Jorge Bustos collaborates as a critic in ‘El Cultural’, is part of the Fundéu’s advisory council and is a political commentator on various radio and television programs.

The last of the meetings will be carried out by Emilio del Río (Logroño, 1963), who is considered one of the greatest popularizers of the classical world in Spain. The author of titles as well received by the public as ‘Calamares a la romana’ or ‘Latín Lovers’ will be at the Casa de Las Tejerinas on Friday, September 24th.
Emilio del Río, who for years has been collaborating with RNE with its section dedicated to Latin and classical culture ‘Verba Volant’ and the podcast ‘Locos por los classicos’, will address issues such as the possibilities offered by radio to disseminate cultural issues or the podcasts as products that attract new audiences to the airwaves.
All the meetings will be led by the journalist Francisco Reyero, host of the cultural program ‘El Flexo’ on Canal Sur and author of journalistic works such as’ Sinatra: I will never return to that damn country ‘,’ Eastwood. Since my name defends me ‘o’ Trump. The lion of the circus’, among others.
The three talks will be held at 8.30 pm. Admission will be free until all seats.
