Mountain races return to Casares in 2022! This was announced by the City Council today, having had a meeting this afternoon the Sierra Bermeja Trail Club and the Councilor for Sports, Nicolás Morales, to set a date and begin preparations for the Villa de Casares Mountain Race and the Night Race, which are usually celebrated in spring and summer respectively.
After two years of interruption due to the pandemic, Casares will host its two mountain races next year, two sports events that attract a large number of people to the municipality, between participants and companions.
The Villa de Casares Mountain Race and the Night Race are two events that are an incentive to enjoy the wonders of the municipality and its natural environment, since they are routes, starting and ending in the historic center, which include a good part of the most attractive and impressive natural places in the municipality.
