The Cine-Club of the municipal delegation of Culture will continue the autumn cycle next Thursday, November 4, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, with the film ‘Falling’ (2020), a beautiful family drama about old age, memory and forgiveness between parents and children, with which Viggo Mortensen makes his directorial debut.

This heartwarming Canadian, UK, and Danish co-production stars Lance Henriksen, Viggo Mortensen, and Terry Chen, among others.

The projection will be in original version (English) with Spanish subtitles. Admission is free until full capacity is reached.

Synopsis: John Petersen (Viggo Mortensen) lives with his boyfriend Eric (Terry Chen) and their adopted daughter, in southern California. His father Willis (Lance Henriksen), a traditional and conservative farmer in his 80s, decides to travel to Los Angeles and stay with John while he searches for the perfect place to retire.

Once all together, two very different worlds collide. Willis shows signs of losing his sanity, and his peculiar way of being, as funny as it is harmful to some members of the family, brings to light wounds from the past and years of mistrust among those close to him.

The autumn cycle will continue on Thursday, November 11, with the screening of the French comedy ‘100 Kilos de Estrellas’ by Marie-Sophie Chambon, in its original version in French, with subtitles in Spanish.
