Estepona City Council informs that the town’s Bullring will host next Saturday, October 15, at 6:00 p.m., the grand finale, in practical class, of the XXIV Andalusian Becerradas Cycle. The celebration aims to promote the bullfighting culture of Andalusia and promote the new values ​​of the Andalusian bullfighting schools.

The event is organized by the Andalusian Association of Bullfighting Schools “Pedro Romero”, and is sponsored by the Ministry of the Presidency, Interior, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Junta de Andalucía and “Fomentauro”, and the collaboration of the Estepona Town Hall. In addition, it collaborates, among others, the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla.

The seven students classified for the grand final will fight 7 cattle from the El Rodeo Livestock. The bullfighters from the Andalusian bullfighting schools are the following: JUANMI VIDAL, from the “El Volapié” Bullfighting School in Sanlúcar de Barrameda; JAVIER ZULUETA, from the Cultural School of Bullfighting in Seville; ÁNGEL PÉREZ, from the Bullfighting District School of Ubrique; ISAAC GALVÍN, from the Francisco Montes “Paquiro” Bullfighting School, in Chiclana; DENNIS MARTÍN, from the Bullfighting Municipal School of Almería; MANUEL TRONCOSO, from the “Curro Guillén” Bullfighting School in Utrera; and MAURO MACANDRO, from the Cultural School of Bullfighting in Seville. As first and second reserves, GUSTAVO MARTOS, from the Bullfighting School of Granada, and ANDRÉS MEMBRIVES, from the Bullfighting School of Córdoba, are designated.

Invitations for this celebration can be picked up at the Estepona City Council Culture Delegation, located at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, on Calle San Fernando, 2, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
