The city’s Bullring will host next Sunday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m., the grand final, in practical class, of the XXIII Cycle of Becerradas of Andalusia. The celebration aims to promote the bullfighting culture of Andalusia and promote the new values of the Andalusian bullfighting schools.
The event is organized by the Bullfighting School of the Diputación de Málaga and the Andalusian Association of Bullfighting Schools ‘Pedro Romero’. It is sponsored by the Council of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Junta de Andalucía, and the collaboration of the Estepona City Council and ‘Fomentauro’, a project to support and disseminate bullfighting culture. In addition, they collaborate, among others, the Real Maestranza de Caballería de Sevilla.
During the celebration, 6 year-olds from the Castillo de Azuel Livestock will be fought for the following bullfighters from the Andalusian bullfighting schools: ‘El Albarrate’, from the Atarfe Bullfighting School; Ángel Delgado, from the Úbeda Bullfighting School; José Martínez Librero, from the Beds Municipal School of Bullfighting; José Luis de la Torre, from the Ubrique Regional Bullfighting School; Pablo Lozano Carrasco, from the Miguel Mateo ‘Miguelín’ Municipal School of Yauromaquia in Algeciras; and Juan Jesús Rodríguez, from the Linense Bullfighting School.
The invitations for this celebration to promote new values of the Andalusian bullfighting schools can be collected at the Delegation of Culture of the Estepona City Council, located at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, on Calle San Fernando, 2, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
