The Estepona Cine-Club will start the new autumn cycle this Thursday, October 7, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, with ‘Druk’ (2020), Best International Film at the 93rd Oscar Awards (2021).
It is a 2020 Danish drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, from a script by Vinterberg and Tobias Lindholm. It stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe, among others.
Synopsis: Four high school teachers embark on a sociological experiment in which each of them must maintain a constant level of alcohol in their blood throughout the day. In this way, they try to show that they can improve in all aspects of their life, becoming more courageous and creative. However, although at first it seems that the results are very positive, as the experiment progresses it begins to derail, bringing consequences that will change their lives forever.
The screening in Spanish with English subtitles it will be free until full capacity is reached.
The autumn cycle will continue on Thursday, October 28, with the screening of the French comedy ‘Play’ by Anthony Marciano, in its original version in French, with Spanish subtitles.
