The movie ‘Captain Carver’ will participate in the official section of the XXII International Fantastic Film Week of the Costa del Sol, transferring its daring, dark and interesting premise to the armchairs of Marbella.
The film, directed and written by Evgeny Yablokov, a Russian filmmaker living in Spain, is a portrait of the toxic masculinity told through Ernesto, who works as a security guard in a supermarket. This individual, at night, takes his other identity for a walk through the streets of the city, the vigilante ‘Captain Carver’. Under this name, which allows him to remain anonymous, Ernesto will be involved in a drug plot and prostitution when a young woman, Alicia, comes to him to hunt down the drug dealer who killed your brother.
Starring Victor Rivas and Corral Sea and produced by Pablo Tain, the director’s debut feature will arrive in Marbella to present a violent and politically incorrect story that promises that the viewer will remain at the edge of the chair at all times.
