The Sampedreña beach of La Salida becomes this weekend, September 25 and 26, on the pitch to the first edition of the ‘Langui Futplayuni Cup Senior and Veterans’, an event that has free registrations and that supposes the continuity of the camp for schoolchildren held this summer in the same place.
The Councilor for Sports Activities of San Pedro Alcántara, Javier Mérida, today presented the event, which will have two categories, one for people over 18 and another for 35. “We are delighted to continue collaborating with Juan Manuel Montilla, ‘El Langui’, to bring this sport to new neighbors”, stressed the mayor, who also thanked the Delegation of Beaches “for their effort to maintain the sports facilities in this zone”.
For its part, ‘El Langui’ has also highlighted “the City Council’s commitment to this type of activity” and explained the great reception of this event: “It arrives by popular request, since during the summer the older ones also shared with us their desire to participate in a beach soccer event”. “I want to take this opportunity to encourage fans to sign up for the tournament in which we will give away t-shirts, as well as there will be gifts and trophies,” said Montilla, who pointed out that “there are still free places.”
