The Korean soloist Minsung Lee has achieved the first prize of the winners of the VII edition of the Marbella International Music Festival Contestan appointment that was held in the José Pernía Calderón auditorium and that obtained a great response from the attendees, who filled the cultural venue.

The second and the Third place of the contest has fallen, respectively, in the Korean Hanna Jang and Russian Simon Karakulidi. The awards, to which was also added that of the public for Hanna Jang, were delivered by the general director of Culture, Carmen Díaz, who underlined the level of the participants and the trajectory of the event.

The City Council has reported in a statement that festival continues this Sunday with the show of the participants of the international masterclass and it will continue on Monday, September 5, when it will be the turn of the German Sven Bauer, chamber musician and winner of numerous competitions around the world, at the Buchinger Wilhelmi Clinic. On Tuesday, the performance of Minsung Lee will take place, at 7:00 p.m., at the Manuel Carra Professional Conservatory in Malaga.

Already the WednesdaySeptember 7, at the Marbella Rally MuseumAt 7:30 p.m., there will be a concert of international artistswith names like Samuel Chu (Philippines), Hae Lin Kim (South Korea), Norah Wanton (Italy/Cuba), Cristina Aracil and Carlos Aracil (Spain), Michael Davidov (Spain/Israel), Alba Llorach (Spain) and Jose Carlos Fernandez (Spain).

A day later, on the 8th, at 8:30 p.m., in the José Pernía Calderón Auditorium, the Argentine and Spanish pianists, respectively, Oriana Kemelmajer and Alba Llorach. On the 9th, at the same time and location, it will be the turn of Juan Ignacio Fernández Morales, soloist with national and international orchestras.

The final touch to the program will be put on, on September 10, at 8:30 p.m. in the José Pernía Calderón Auditorium, the saxophonist Albert Julia and the pianist and festival director, Michael Davidovwith a closing concert, which will also feature international musicians and teachers from the Barcelona Liceu Superior Conservatory of Music.
