The ‘Marbepop’ festival will celebrate its new edition on November 20 at La Represa Park, an event that will once again publicize the highlights of the local music scene and offer opportunities to emerging bands and artists from the municipality. The line-up is made up of Los 300, Mayte González, The Lost Bullets, Crackids and Sandro Jeeawock, as well as a circus show by Manolo Carambolas. The Councilor for Youth, Enrique Rodríguez, has indicated that from the delegation “we believe that music is an alternative leisure instrument that reinforces the points of common interest among young people.”

“In this edition, which will take place between 1:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., we resumed the event with an audience unlike last year, which was held in a different format due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic,” recalled the mayor , who has opted for the formula started in 2016 by holding a festival “in the open air, free, that serves as cohesion between young people, families and the collective of artists in the town.” In addition, it will have the ‘Young Factory’ space, where artists will exhibit their work and report on topics of interest, and again part of the proceeds will go to a social cause, specifically this year it will go to those affected by the La Palma volcano. .

The 300
The trio Los 300 is a creative project born in 2013 in Granada, formed by Manuel Collados (guitar, bass and voice), Zeque Olmo (percussion and keyboard) and Jimi García (winds and electropad). By mastering the loop, these multi-instrumentalists build their songs so that the audience can enjoy the sensation of being in front of a formation with many more members. The three musicians are also part of the Eskorzo group and have more than 25 years of musical careers.

Mayte gonzalez
Pianist, singer and composer, she began her piano studies at an early age at the Marbella Conservatory. After several years studying classical piano, he decided to continue his career towards a more modern style, based on jazz, R&B and soul, and undertook his higher studies at TAI University, graduating in 2018 in Contemporary Music Composition. She has participated in various projects as a composer and performer and is currently a pianist for Dalaporte, Kimberley Tell, Rolita, Rafa Almarcha, among other projects and now she dares with her own challenge, presenting her compositions in trio format with Jesús Bachiller and David Bao.

The lost bullets
It is a local rock and roll group formed by young artists Christian Nilsen (guitar and voice), Miguel Zamora (bass and voice) and Italo Cuuccagna (drums). The three components have been working together since 2018, starting in the group The Dropouts. With influences from the punk rock of Green Day or Ramones to the classic rock and roll of Chuch Berry or Little Richard, this band is currently recording their first studio album.

The Crackids
They have only been together for a few months and already have thousands of followers on social networks. They got together to go on television to the program ‘Tierra de Talento’ and surprised with the version of the Ramones most sugarcane in history. In their concerts they mix punk and ska.

Sandro jeeawock
He is one of the producers of the new urban music, called to be the new pop and electronic music, taking hip hop as its roots. His music has never left anyone indifferent, being supported by groups like Soulection (USA) and media like Jenasaispop. He has gone through festivals such as Sonar 2017 and venues such as Razzmatazz, Siroco and Paris 15.

It is a project created by the Manolo Carambolas company, based in Andalusia and formed by Lolo Zamora, circus artist, PACA award for the best individual circus number, performer, creator and co-producer of Ludo Circus Show. Dúo Fitness is performed together with Antonio Ramírez, winner of the MalagaCrea Award for the best performance circus show and trained at the Rogelio Rivel circus school. He has worked as an interpreter in companies such as Rolabola, as well as being the founder of Málaga Escuela de Circo, a space for creation, residence and training in this world.
