The Fair of Nueva Andalucia will flood the La Caridad venue from July 20 to 23 with music and dance, which opens with better accesses and more space for attractions, as reported by the district councilor, Cristóbal Garre, on Thursday.
This was highlighted by the municipal official, accompanied by the coordinator, Vanessa Ortiz de Zárate, in the presentation of the poster and the program of the festivitieswhich will feature as a novelty two orchestras, Dúo Arenal and Rompeolas, and where artists and local dance academies will take center stage.
“We are betting again on some nearby festivities where traditions are recovered”, pointed out the mayor, who thanked the work of the festival committee “to maintain our hallmarks”.
Garre recalled that “last year we inaugurated a historic fair in the facility located next to the Guadaiza”, while indicating that “various improvements have been made to its more than 81,000 square metres, especially related to the accessibility and safety with new fencing or entrance gates”. Likewise, progress has been made that the area for attractions has been expanded in order to increase the number of facilities.
The fair will start on Thursday, July 20, with the inauguration of the lighting and the fairgrounds, followed by the proclamation by the presenter of RTV Marbella Cristina López and the imposition of bands and crowns on the queens, ladies and king of the festivities, who today have participated in the presentation act.
During the rest of the days, there will be performances by the two orchestras, as well as by the artists atienza on Saturday, July 22, El Ganstereo and tomas rivera on Sunday, July 23.
To facilitate the trips to La Caridad, in Marbella, a bus service will be enabled from Nueva Andalucía, as reported by Ortíz de Zárate, who has emphasized that appointments such as No Noise Day are held on Friday, July 21; as well as Sunday spray at the Center for Active People of the district and Children’s Day on Sunday, July 23, with all the attractions at popular prices. “It is a diverse program that integrates all groups and gives visibility to local talents”, he concluded.
