The City Council has officially adhered to the request of the Virgen del Carmen Brotherhood so that its owner and Patroness of Marbella be canonically crowned. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, accompanied by councilors Enrique Rodríguez and José Eduardo Díaz, has delivered to the elder sister of the brotherhood, Ana Belén Haro, a letter which reflects the municipal support for the process promoted before the Bishopric of Malaga.
