The Verbena of the Plaza de Toros neighborhood de Marbella will return from September 1 to 4 after two years without being celebrated due to the pandemic, a festival that returns “with enthusiasm” and a programming focused on all audiencesas reported on Monday by the Fiestas advisor, Yolanda Marín.
The municipal official presented today, together with the president of the San Bernabé neighborhood association, Julio Colorado, and the author of the festival poster, Miguel Rodríguez, the Events calendaramong which the proclamation by Ketty Morilla and the coronation of queens and ladies.
Marín has advanced that “we have already meeting in the neighborhood to coordinate safety and health measures of the holidays”, while Colorado has unraveled the agenda of events that will begin on September 1 with Children’s Daywith special prices on attractions and an hour without noise for those who are extremely sensitive to noise.
It will continue on September 2, at 9:00 p.m., with the inauguration and proclamation, followed by the coronation of the queens, ladies and Mister 2022, ending the day with the performance of the group ‘Gloria Bendita’which will liven up the festivities throughout the day.
On September 3, at 12:00 noon, there will be a gymkana and in the afternoon the dances will take place from the Gema Piña (Fitflamc) and Alba Donoso academies. The last day, September 4, will start in the morning with a foam party and will continue at 5:00 p.m. with another children’s show by Mimosín.
The festival will close concert by Abraham DD and Estrella González. For his part, the author of the poster has indicated that he has made it with the pastel technique and represents the juvenile queen getting ready before going out to the verbena.
