The Marbella Town Hall has begun the refurbishment works for the creation of the new municipal tourism office of San Pedro Alcántaralocated on the Boulevard, some jobs that have a investment close to 700,000 euros, as announced this Thursday by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz.

This was highlighted by the councilor during a visit to the facility, which will house a multipurpose room for groups and citizens “That it serves as a meeting and meeting place and allows a greater flexibility of public services”, among other spaces.

The councilor has recalled that it is going to carry out the remodeling of a municipal premises of 300 square meters to be able to count on “a more modern and functional enclave and, in addition, in a strategic environment, at the entrance of San Pedro”, which will be completed presumably before the end of this year.

“We wanted the office was the most visible and functional and welcome our visitors”, indicated the mayor, who pointed out that the performance, with a budget close to 700,000 euros, It will be financed with a subsidy obtained from the Diputación de Málaga.

Likewise, Muñoz has pointed out that this project will replace the former officelocated on Marqués del Duero avenue, and will also bet on the technical and technological equipment more advanced. “These were dependencies in which we had a special interest and we have come to visit the work that begins, once the tender and award was resolved”, the first mayor pointed out.
