Representatives of the member municipalities have met today in Isla Cristina, which this year commemorates the centenary of the arrival of Blas Infante to the town to hold the position of notary.
From Casares, which currently holds the presidency of the Route, the mayor Pepe Carrasco has pointed out that the meeting has served to continue advancing in the objectives and give a new boost to promotion, emphasizing the cultural and educational character of the member municipalities, in addition to the tourist.
During the visit, the mayor of Casares received a replica of Don Dimas, the fox that was Blas Infante’s pet and that is the logo of the celebrations in the town, from the Isla Cristina Town Hall. A figure that will be exhibited in the future installations of the Birthplace of Blas Infante de Casares
