The marketing of DGT environmental labels for vehicles has been part of the diversification of Post office services for four years.
The postmen and rural portfolios of the territory also provide these badges to people who reside in small municipalities, avoiding displacements.
Currently, four types of badges are marketed based on the environmental impact of vehicles. Its colors are: blue, blue and green, green and yellow. The cost of this service is 5 euros.
The establishment of low emission zones in all municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants for next year, in accordance with the new legislation, may be one of the reasons for the increase in the sale of these badges.
Other DGT services such as the payment of fines, obtaining a duplicate of the circulation permit or vehicle reports can be processed at the Post offices. In addition, in offices such as Dos Hermanas or Écija it is also possible to manage the change of ownership of used vehicles.
Correos continues to diversify its range of services both in its branches and on its website on the Correos Market platform. The objective is to continue bringing services to all citizens, making their day-to-day life easier, especially in rural areas, where these initiatives also become an effective instrument that contributes to the fight against depopulation.
In addition to the traditional Correos products for sending letters and parcels, the offices offer services such as the payment of taxes, management of electricity and telephone services, access to the purchase of train tickets, the offer of insurance companies and Correos Telecom and Red Cross lottery sales, among others.
