The San Pedro Fair 2021 will start this Friday, October 15, with a varied program that bets on the reactivation of the center, a festival that will last until October 19 and that will take place on the boulevard, El Cielo and the Plaza de la Iglesia, as announced yesterday by the Deputy Mayor of Sampedreño, Javier García.
This was highlighted by the mayor in the presentation of the big week of the population nucleus, where he has been accompanied by the director of Fiestas, Rubén Sánchez.
García has indicated that “it is a celebration that we all expected and that has generated expectation in the environment because citizens want to enjoy and have fun after such a long time ”, while underlining that“ a great job has been done to develop a varied program in which we bet on a different format, which will be developed at various points with the different audiences in mind and respecting all the established measures ”.
The municipal official has stated that “we want life to return to the center and that the commercial fabric can reverse the difficult situation that has gone through with the pandemic ”so, as specified, it is authorized the decoration of the premises throughout the fair and they can also have live music, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. outdoors and until 10:00 p.m. indoors.
Another strategic point in this edition It will be El Cielo de San Pedro, which will host from October 15 to 24 a amusement area for children and a youth area from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and in which a private car park will be enabled to facilitate access. As García explained, “we have prioritized local artists because they have suffered the consequences of the crisis, with a program of performances that will take place on the boulevard until 10 pm”.
