The deputy mayor of Sampedreño, Javier García, has presented today together with the director of Fiestas, Rubén Sánchez, the program of the San Pedro Fair 2021, which will start this Friday, October 15, and which will last until October 19 , and pointed out that “it is a celebration that we all expected and that has generated expectation in the environment, because citizens want to enjoy and have fun after so long” and stressed that “a great job has been done to develop a program varied in which we are committed to a different format, which will be developed at various points with the different audiences in mind and respecting all the established measures ”.

García has stated that “we want life to return to the center and for the commercial fabric to be able to reverse the difficult situation it has gone through with the pandemic” so, as specified, the decoration of the premises is authorized throughout the fair and also They will be able to have live music, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. outdoors and until 10:00 p.m. indoors. Another strategic point in this edition will be El Cielo de San Pedro, which will host from October 15 to 24 a children’s area of ​​attractions and a youth area, from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and in which a private parking lot will be enabled to facilitate access . He explained that “we have prioritized local artists, because they have suffered the consequences of the crisis, with a program of performances that will take place on the boulevard, until 10 pm, because the objective is to reconcile fun with the rest of the neighbors. And we also wanted to give dance academies their own space, which will be the Plaza de la Iglesia ”. Likewise, he has indicated that on the 19th the procession of the Patron Saint will take place with a shorter itinerary than usual, in consensus with the brotherhood, and has highlighted that “a device made up of members of the Local Police, National Police and Civil Protection it will ensure safety and compliance with the sanitary protocol throughout all the days of the fair ”.

The general director of Fiestas de San Pedro, Rubén Sánchez, has shelled a program of events that starts on Friday 15, at 5:00 p.m., with a parade of Giants and Bigheads that will leave from Pablo Ruiz Picasso avenue and end in the Plaza de church.
