The program of events planned for the Estepona Fairwhich will be held from July 5 to 10, and which will have as crier to the artist Jose Merce, as announced this Friday by the deputy mayor of the Sociocultural area, Begoña Ortiz.

The festivities will begin on July 5 with the reading of the proclamation by the flamenco singer, an act will take place at 9:00 p.m. in the gardens of the Parque Botánico-Orquidario, and will include a performance by the young contemporary dance dancer from Estepona Paula Infantes, finalist of the television contest ‘Tierra de Talento’, and of the flamenco artists Eduardo López and Sandra Cisneros.

Ortiz highlighted that the Estepona City Council has designed a wide and varied program of activities in the multipurpose Fair Park, with free concerts to be held in the municipal Booth like the one offered by the group ‘Los del Río’, who will perform the most popular hits of their career on Friday, July 8. In addition, the Fair will have one of the most outstanding voices of Spanish pop, Marta Sánchez, which will perform on Saturday 9.

One of the main exponents of the new wave of genre fusion artists, Daviles de Novelda on July 7; the grandson of singer Enrique Montoya, Juanlu Montoya on July 6; and the flamenco fusion singer La Flaka on July 10. There will also be performances by local artists and local dance and dance groups, as well as the Top Secret, Dynamic and Metropolis orchestras.

Wednesday will be dedicated to the little ones, who will be able to enjoy a children’s party with the ‘Super Show of the Punkilokis’ at the Municipal Booth, at 7:00 p.m. Besides, that day will be the Children’s Day and the attractions will have a 50 percent discount.

On the other hand, from Thursday the 7th to Sunday the 10th of July, will offer free rides to the Fair Park on the ‘Tourist Train’. This service, which will depart from Avenida Juan Carlos I at the height of the new Town Hall, will be in operation from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m..

The Estepona Fair this year will have a urban bus service to move citizens to the Fair Park, as in previous years there will be a Information ‘purple dot’ to people who need advice on sexual harassment or violence during the celebration of the local patron saint festivities.
