The International Summit on Space and Underwater Tourism (Sutus for its acronym in English) dedicated to luxury tourism will be held in Marbella from September 28 to 30 and it will address the two great challenges for the sector, the cosmos and water, its organizers announced on Tuesday. From the hand of recognized experts and the main international institutions, in this third edition -the second after the pandemic- the possibilities offered by both space and underwater tourism will be analyzed, highlighted the Les Roches hotel school, promoter of the event.

Although the details of the program are unknown, it is expected that the North American space agency (POT), the European (THAT), the Japanese (JAXA) or Chinese (CNSA).

After the success of the 2021 edition, in which five hundred professionals and university students from 43 countries participated, in 2022 the aim is to expand the representation of “companies and projects that are involved in taking luxury tourism beyond the borders that until now now the human being dominates”, highlighted the general director of Les Roches Marbella, Carlos Diez de la Lastra. Díez de la Lastra also announced that Sutus 2022 will also have a hybrid format, so that the opening day will be held on the Les Roches campus in Marbella and the next two will be held virtually through its event platform.

The face-to-face agenda will make it easier to establish synergies between the participants, while the virtual one will allow attendees to see first-hand the vision of top-level multidisciplinary speakers who cannot travel to Marbella in person.
