Next Saturday, September 25, the VII Great International Cleaning of the Seabed and Beaches, on the beach of El Castillo de la Duquesa. Environment of the Manilva City Council has the collaboration of the Underwater Association of Casares, and the day will begin at 11.00. Also participating in this activity is the Marine Watchers Network, who fight against the serious environmental problem posed by marine litter since its creation in 2013.
Since then, they have joined the initiative more than two thousand divers and as many volunteers by land. This project of Andalusian origin has crossed borders, acting for two years in Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Cape Verde. It is the largest network of divers in solidarity with the environment that exists in the world. Furthermore, for the second year in a row, Pescanova collaborates by exchanging the kilos of waste that can be removed for kilos of food that will be donated to the Spanish Federation of Food Banks.
