The expansion and reform works of the Birthplace of Blas Infante include the functional grouping of the properties at numbers 49 and 51 Carrera Street, expanding the current facilities with the adjoining house, so that the town where the birthplace of the Father of the Andalusian Homeland of decent and spacious facilities, said the mayor, Pepe Carrasco.

The new facilities will have a useful area of ​​92 m2 on the ground floor and 107 m2 on the first floor. A space distributed in 4 rooms, conference room, reception, distribution spaces and services. With which enough space is provided for exhibitions and archives in order to spread the broad legacy of Blas Infante.

Once the expansion has been carried out, the Blas Infante Birthplace will have its entrance at number 49, thus eliminating the access steps and it will be equipped with an elevator, which will also improve the accessibility of the entire building.

With the start of these works, the Casares City Council carries out a complex process, the result of the collaboration of different administrations, with which the government team recovers an emblematic space of the municipal historical heritage and provides the town of Casares with a new tourist attraction . The works are co-financed by the JJAA, according to the agreement signed in June 2020, the Provincial Council participated with the drafting of the execution project.
