The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, together with the person in charge of Infrastructure and Works, Diego José Jiménez, and the councilors Marcos Ruiz, Alba Jiménez and Manolo Gil, have visited the expansion works that are being developed at the School of Music, Dance and Theater, located in the Plaza de Orfeo.

The first mayor spoke of these facilities as a cultural benchmark on the Costa de Sol, which at the beginning of next year will be available to the many students that each course has.

As Jiménez commented, at the moment the works are focused on the execution of the metallic structure, which will support the slab of the new construction.
Diego José Jiménez highlighted the great investment in projects focused on promoting education and culture, such as the expansion of the Municipal School of Music, which welcomes students of all ages, both from the locality and from other towns. .

This project is coordinated by the person in charge of Urbanism, Marcos Ruiz, together with the architect and the surveyor of this delegation.

These visits by municipal managers are made to check and supervise the good rhythm of the works, and that the established deadlines are being met, as is being the case.

The expansion will be completed at the end of the year and next January the students will find notably improved facilities, which will increase the quality of the service they provide.
