The Doha street parking construction of Marbella enters a new phase with the start of the emptying works of the plot after the placement of more than 340 micropiles to stabilize the land and the installation of the crowning beam that finishes off the structure, as reported on Wednesday by the councilor of the branch, Diego López.
The mayor has visited the performance and has indicated that “now starts the excavation that will allow lowering almost seven meters deep before carrying out the forging and concreting work”. The municipal official explained that “the micropilotage was very important because it is the one that allows the work to be executed faster later” and has specified that anchors will also be installed to provide the building with firmness.
Lopez has specified that the emptying will continue during the months of August and September and recalled that “it is expected that the project is completed in the spring of 2023, although the road may be opened to the public earlier, once the surface works are undertaken and work can continue inside”.
He underlined that “the neighborhood of Divina Pastora is one of those that suffer the most from the lack of parking and where the neighbors have more difficulties to park their vehicles, so we have opted for this parking of three heights, which will provide the area with 167 new places”.
The councilor pointed out that the car park “will be municipally managedwith some prices that will range between 1 and 2 euros for 12 hours, depending on whether it is during the day or at night, and the sale of seats is not planned”. It has also ensured that “we continue to promote projects that solve this deficit in other parts of the municipality.”
