On June 14, agents of the National Police dismantled in San Pedro Alcántara (Marbella), a ‘cafeteria’ that functioned as a supposed point of sale for drugs. Apparently, the establishment distributed XL sized cannabis jointswhose price amounted to 1,000 euros.
The two people in front of the premises At that time, a man and a woman – aged 33 and 39, respectively – were also arrested and they are being investigated for their alleged responsibility in a drug trafficking crime, according to police sources.
The ‘Trumpet’ operation, carried out by agents attached to the Local Judicial Police Brigade of the Marbella Local Police Station, began after certain information pointed to an increase in the consumption of narcotics in the vicinity of a ‘coffee shop’ in the center of San Pedro Alcántara.
Continuing with the investigations, the agents detected a transfer of people who came to the premises, accessing its interior and leaving it after a few minutes, once they were supplied, supposedly, with drugs.
In this sense, in the vicinity of the property being monitored, the policemen prepared several minutes of apprehension of marijuana among regulars to the establishmentwhich confirmed the initial suspicions.
Finally, it was carried out entry and registration at the premises with the authorization of the Court of Instruction 5 of Marbella. At the time of the practice of this diligence, the agents located, inside the establishment, a man and a woman in charge of the illicit business, and also identified a client.
As a result of the ‘Trumpet’ operation, the investigators intervened 2,160 grams of marijuanaa, 663 grams of hashish, 397 joints -some of size XL-, 372 euros in cash and diverse documentation
