An earthquake of 3.9 degrees of magnitude has been registered at 11:14 a.m. this Wednesday with an epicenter in Salar, in western Granada, one kilometer deep, having been felt in this and other surrounding municipalities, also in the province of Malaga, with no evidence of damage.

According to data from the National Geographic Institute (IGN), consulted by Europa Press, Salar has been the epicenter of other earthquakes of lesser intensity than this one, which has had an intensity of between 4 and 5 in Moraleda de Zafayona, and 4 in Loja. , Huetor Tajar and Salar.

The other minor earthquakes that have had Salar as their epicenter in the morning have been recorded at 10:23 am (1.6 magnitude degrees), and at 8:05 am and at 7:00 am, these last two of 2, 3 degrees.

As for the one registered at 11:14 am, the Emergency Coordination Service 112 Andalucía has received four calls after the earthquake from people who have felt it from Moraleda de Zafayona, and two calls from Loja and Torrox (Málaga).

It should be remembered that the IGN recorded this past Wednesday morning a magnitude 2.8 earthquake with an epicenter southwest of the Malaga town of Alhaurín el Grande, the third recorded in the province of Malaga since Monday.
