This week with the Grape Harvest Festival, the program of festive activities that has been taking place in the town since June comes to an end.

On Saturday, September 3, at the hands of the festival delegation of the Manilva City Council directed by Daniel Muñoz, the activities designed for the weekend are launched.

The culture delegation also participates in these festivities, which together with the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Father Jesús Nazareno, organize the liturgical acts that will begin at 7:00 p.m., with the holy mass sung by the Municipal School Choir of Music of Manilva. Next, the image of the Virgin will go out in procession accompanied by the Municipal Music Band.

One of the most important moments of this celebration will come when the farmers make the offering of the fruit of their vines to the image of Our Lady of Sorrows, who will make a stop next to the stage installed on Mar Street.

Organized by the delegations of Culture, Festivals and Agriculture, with the collaboration of the brotherhood itself, there will also be a cluster contest that will reward those with the greatest weight.

At 10 p.m., music and dance will accompany us with the “Latidos” and “Grupo Trenzao” orchestras, and in the Plaza de la Vendimia, the best songs of the moment will be played by the resident DJs “Alex Ocaña and “DJ Pajaro ”, organized by the parties and youth areas.

Already on Sunday, September 4, it will be when the big day of these festivities is celebrated, with the Rocío Sunday of the Grape Harvest.

At noon there will be a tasting of both the wine and the grapes from our land, and the neighbors will be treated to typical details.

At 1:00 p.m., the party will be inaugurated on Mar Street, half an hour later, the horsemen’s ride will take place.

From 2:00 p.m., there will be music with the groups “Latidos” and “Compás Flamenco”. These groups will play throughout the day on the different stages of Mar Street.

In the vintage square from 4:00 p.m. and throughout the day, the resident DJs “Alex Ocaña and “DJ Pajaro” will play the best songs.
At 7:00 p.m., we will live one of the most emotional moments of these festivities, with one of the most typical images of Manilva, the traditional treading of the grapes in the winery in the Plaza de la Vendimia and the tasting of the first wine of the season.

From 9:30 p.m., as the culmination of the festivities, there will be a performance by the group “Los Mickis” who will delight us with great songs.

After the concert, a pyrotechnic show will put an end to the festivities.
