Marbella Next week there will be three new days to go to municipal vaccination centers without prior appointment and, as a novelty, not only users of the municipality’s health centers but also Andalusian residents who are during those days in the city. Specifically, people over 16 years of age will be able to travel to the PaLacio of Fairs and Congresses Adolfo Suárez Tuesday, August 17, from 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, August 18, at the same time. Likewise, in the old tent of San Pedro Alcántara, the same group can be immunized on Thursday, August 19, between 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm. For their part, minors between 12 and 15 years old may be vaccinated, also without prior appointment, on Wednesday, August 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the Sampedreño campus. In this case they must be accompanied by an adult.

The Councilor for Health, Enrique Rodriguez, has underlined the importance of continuing to advance in immunization “to put a stop to the pandemic” and has specified that more than 85 percent of the target population in Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara already have at least one dose in place, which represents a total of 116,335 administered to those over 12 years of age. 66.3 percent have received the complete schedule, so the total number of injected units amounts to 171,169. In the case of young people, 45 percent have at least one of the vials. The mayor recalled that to request a prior appointment for vaccination in the centers authorized by the City Council, in collaboration with the Costa del Sol Health District, in the Adolfo Suárez Palace of Fairs and Congresses and in the tent of the old San Pedro fairgrounds Alcántara, it is necessary to contact the website of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS); the ClicSalud + APP; Health Responds (955 54 50 60) or the health center, preferably by phone.
