Two women, aged 52 and 32, were injured this Sunday in a traffic accident that occurred on the AP-7 motorway as it passed through the Malaga municipality of Benalmádena.

As reported to Europa Press by the Andalusian Emergency Service 112, the notice has arrived at 5:15 p.m. warning of an accident vehicle at kilometer 218 of the AP-7, in the direction of Malaga. In addition, the alerter pointed to several injured people.

The coordinating center has notified the Civil Guard and health services, who have transferred two women, aged 52 and 32, to the Virgen de la Victoria hospital in Malaga.

From the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) they have confirmed to Europa Press that the accident has left the two lanes of the road occupied, for which there have been long queues that have reached eight kilometers. In addition, there have been rear-end collisions within the caravans.

The retentions have lasted for an hour and since 6:45 p.m. it is already circulating normally on the road, the same sources have specified.
