Three out of three. The Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital has once again stood out at the awards ceremony BSH (Best Spanish Hospitals Awards). In the third edition of these awards, whose delivery ceremony took place yesterday in Seville, the Marbella hospital has received recognition as a finalist in the category of kidney and urinary tract processes. The BSH awards are awards that are especially valued by the Spanish healthcare sector insofar as they assess the best results in healthcare management and quality of care. To define which hospitals receive the awards for their best results, we have analyzed up to 250 indicators of up to 10 categories.

From the Urology Service of the Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella, they have collected the award as a ratification of the coordination work of the two specialties involved. “It is very gratifying to receive this award, which is a joint recognition of the teamwork of the Urology Services and Nephrology of the hospital. Furthermore, the fact that it is the professionals themselves who evaluate our patient care processes is a stimulus and incentive for all of us ”, stated the Head of Urology Service, the doctor Pablo Navarro Vílchez.

The recent recognition joins the first national award BSH (Best Spanish Hospitals Awards) in the diagnostic category of the musculoskeletal apparatus and two accrediting diplomas in the diagnostic categories of Women and Digestive and Pancreatic Diseases received in 2020. In 2019, the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital She stood out in the category of Diagnosis of Women, Respiratory System and Global Results.

A total of 122 hospitals have gathered in this edition, the BSH Awards, 65 of them public and 57 private. This is 16% more than in the second edition, in which 105 hospitals participated, 52 public and 53 private. In the first edition, held in 2019 in Madrid, the BSH Awards had the registration of a total of 80 hospitals.
