The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated this Monday, October 10, the yellow level warning in the provinces of Almería, Jáen, Málaga, Córdoba and Seville due to rains that can leave up to 20 mm in one hour in the first three and one accumulated precipitation in the same period of time of 15 mm in the remaining two; In all cases, the notice will be in force until 8:00 p.m. this Monday.
As detailed by the Aemet on its website, consulted by Europa Press, in the Almería province, the risk of rain and storms is between 40 and 70% in the Almanzora Valley and Los Vélez. The same percentage of risk is expected for the Sierra de Cazorla and Segura (Jaén) and the Malaga counties of Antequera and Ronda.
In the provinces of Seville and Córdoba, the yellow notice is located in the Campiña and Sierra Sur areas, and in the Subbética of Córdoba, respectively. In both cases with an accumulated rainfall of 15 mm in one hour and a risk of rain and storm that can reach up to 70%.
For the rest, for this Monday the Aemet foresees in Andalusia a day of cloudy or covered skies, with showers accompanied by storms, more intense and frequent in the interior, where they can be locally strong. Mists on the coast, where dust in suspension is not ruled out. temperatures will not experience major changes, except for the maximum, which will drop in the interior of the autonomous community. The maximum will be registered in Seville (27º) and the minimum, in Jaén with 22 degrees.
